2022 JUNIOR SUMMER GOLF PROGRAM

Instruction takes place from 9:00-11:00, Monday, June 13th through Thursday, June 16th
Ages: 7-11

What is taught?:

  • Basic rules of golf
  • Course etiquette
  • Essential skills from beginner to intermediate
*A putting contest, snack, and prize drawings occur daily from 11:00-11:15.

What is the cost?: The 4-day clinic is $45/child. This includes greens fees and range balls each day during lessons and group instruction. Golf participants will also be awarded free golf every Sunday during the 2022 season.

Are additional lessons throughout the summer an option? Yes! Group instruction ($10/student) is available. Please call now to get it set up. (715-378-2300). Individual lessons are also available upon request ($20/student). In addition, adult lessons are available by appointment (Group Lesson $10/hour, Individual Lesson $25/hour).

Program Expectations
Students arrive for daily check-in at 8:50AM with a guardian. They are ready to golf with the following items:
  • Water bottle
  • Sunscreen
  • Hat
  • Golf shoes or tennis shoes
  • Layers of clothing, as weather can change quickly
Students demonstrate good manners and display kindness at all times. Of course, everyone needs to bring a willingness to learn. Guardians check-out students at 11:15 following snack time.

Golf clubs are encouraged, but not required. Complementary sets are available upon request. All participants will receive additional equipment needed for play upon arrival each day: golf balls, tees, and ball markers.

A small celebration will be held after lessons conclude on the last day of golf. Families are invited to take part in an ice cream social and hot dog luncheon.

The Junior Golf Clinic is coordinated by Krista Martineau. Instruction is delivered by Stacy Burfield and an amazing crew of volunteers.

YOUTH GOLF LESSONS

MISSION: Students will build upon basic golf technique to begin navigating the course.

VISION:

  • Weekly lessons will include skill building and course play.
  • Lesson days/times will be arranged with Stacy Burfield. (June - August)
  • If families are able to put together a group, great! If not, we can schedule a time with other interested golfers.
GROUPS: 3-5 students, 1-hour lessons each week

FEE: $10/lesson, greens fees and club rental included

BONUS: All students part of the group lessons receive complimentary golf throughout the summer Sun-Fri with a scheduled tee time.
